MISSION STATEMENT:

 

Straightway Chapel exist by the grace of God to provide a forum for the worship of God, fellowship with like-minded Christians, and outreach to the unsaved, especially Muslims, (in line with the Great Commission given by the Lord Jesus). E.VISION STATEMENT:Straightway Chapel sees:1.Christians gathered together in its chapel and worshipping the Lord God Almighty in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24),2.Christians gathered together and praying for Gods will to be done on earth (Matt. 6:9-10; Col. 4:12),3.The leadership offering Christ-like leadership and spreading the Gospel through all available means print, electronic, radio, TV, seminars, etc.4.The church members living a life worthy of the Lord and worth emulating (Col. 1:10; Phil. 4:8-9),5.Motivated church members doing evangelism and missions (Matt. 28:18-20; 10:7-8; Acts 1:8),6.Faithful church members engaged actively in socio-communal activities aimed at the holistic development of people (Prov. 29:7; 22:9; Acts 10:38),7.The ministry networking with like-minded Christian organizations and ministries in order to effectively fulfill the Great Commission (Luke 5:5-10).F.STATEMENT OF FAITH:We believe:1.In the verbal inspiration of the Bible as the only infallible and authoritative Word of God.2.That there is One God, eternally existent in three persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.3.In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His Virgin Birth, his Sonship, Sinless Life, His Miracles, His substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of the world, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension to the right hand of the Father as our interceding High Priest; and in his personal future return to this earth in power and glory.4.That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all necessary for forgiveness.5.That the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.6.In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as given to believers who ask for it; and in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Holy Life.7.In adult Water Baptism by Immersion.8.In the Blessed Hope the rapture of the church at Christs second coming.9.In the observance of the Lords Supper in remembrance of the death, resurrection and the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.10.In the bodily resurrection of both the saved and unsaved, the former to everlasting life and the latter to everlasting damnation.

G.AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:1.To provide a forum for fellowship and worship for all who believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.2.To provide a vehicle for evangelizing every human being, particularly Muslims in Ghana and the whole world.3.To serve as a strong prayer force for the salvation of souls and Muslims in particular, in Ghana and other nations.4.To disseminate the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the media of print, audio, video, seminar, public preaching using the Bible and making relevant references to the Quran and Hadith.5.To provide facilities for training in the Word of God and relevant Quranic instruction towards effective outreach to Muslims.6.To contribute towards community and new Muslim converts development through the provisions of medical, vocational, agricultural and technical facilities.7.To break the myth surrounding the conversion of Muslims into Christianity and also ensure that Muslim converts remain and abide in the Christian faith.

H.MEMBERSHIP:The following will constitute members charter:1.Membership will be opened to all who have made a sincere confession of faith in Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour (Rom. 10:9-10)2.Members should submit to all the articles in the Churchs Constitution (Acts 15:28-29)3.Members should use their gifts and talents to contribute their quota towards the churchs growth and development (1Pet. 4:10-11; 1Cor. 14:26)4.Members will contribute financially tithes, offerings, dues, etc. to support the churchs mission/purpose (Mal. 3:8-10; 1Cor. 16:1-2; Phil 4:15-19)5.Members should regularly attend the churchs meetings (Heb. 10:25; Acts 2:42)6.Members should submit voluntarily to the spiritual oversight of the Church (Heb. 13:17; Acts 20:28; 1Thes. 5:12-13)7.Members are to adhere to the Churchs Disciplinary code (Matt. 18:15-20; Heb 12:5-11)
