
YOUTH MINISTRY
The actual work of the Youth Ministry began as far as 1961 through the effort of Madam Peggy Scott, a Missionary. She formed the group with her co-partner Madam Roll who was also a Missionary.
The first executives of the Youth Ministry were:
Mr. Kwaku Berhin as President
Rev. Kwabena Darko as the Treasurer and
Mr. John Boateng as Secretary.
Some of the achievements of the Youth Ministry are:
The purchase of platform for public evangelism and crusade.
Fencing the church wall.
Cementation of the church compound.
The terrazzo works inside the church auditorium.
The following has also being Presidents of the Department at the Central church before. They are:
Rev. Kwabena Darko,
Mr. Paul Amankwah
Mr. Joe Mensah,
Rev. Collins Okai, Mr. Ansah Addo
Mr. Kwasi Afrifa,
Rev. C.K. Boadi now in Italy,
Mr. Richard Boakye.
The group has Brother Michael Mensah as the President.
From the year 1976 to 1984, the group carried out a lot of outreach programmes especially in village evangelism and church planting activities. Here are some highlights:

Kumawu – 1983,
Adiembra – 1984
, Juaben – 1985,
Agona – 1987,
Asaman – 1986,
Jachie – 1988 and
Pramso – 1989.
Calvary Temple was opened through a crusade held between the Men’s Ministry and the Youth of Central Church.
