LAW STUDENTS UNION, KNUST

LSU Welcomes You
The Executives of the Law Students’ Union-KNUST welcomes you to its web page. The law Students’ Union is the official body of law students in the Faculty of Law, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
The aim of the Union is to foster unity and promote welfare among students and lecturers in the faculty and to promote interest and facilitate academic progress in the study of law. As part of its functions, the Union organizes symposia, lectures, seminars and other educative programs aimed at equipping law students in their bid and training to becoming lawyers.
On the other hand, our duty as students’ of law is wakefulness, the fundamental condition of life itself. The unseen, unheard, and the untouchable are what weave the fabric of our seeable Union together. That is why we believe in partnership with vision and not partnership in isolation. For this reason, the mantra for the 2015/2016 academic year remains “the visionary partnership epoch”.
We take inspiration from this Latin sentence, “Salus Populi Suprema Lex Esto”, which is translated, “the welfare of the people should be the supreme law” and thus hold the welfare of our students in high esteem.
You are once again welcome to the Law Students’ Union-KNUST where we work with a purpose and one voice in the belief that the voice of the people is the voice of the Lord, “Vox Populi Vox Dieu”
Sincerely,
CHARLES QUANSAH
LSU PRESIDENT 2015/2016
