MOOTING
The benefits are diverse. Members of the Advocacy Group get the opportunity to participate in National and All-African Moot Court competitions. The mooting team travels to other universities in South Africa, Kenya, Zambia and other African Countries for competitions. In the National Georgina T. Wood Moot Court competition, we get the opportunity to argue before Justices of the Supreme Court. The Group is currently working on creating a liaison with the Centre for Human Rights Initiative (CHRI) in facilitating access to pre-trial rights of prison inmates. There is also opportunity to fraternize with learning friends and discuss issues affecting students of Law.

THE LAW CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP
In 2003, the Law Christian Fellowship (LCF) was established at the Faculty of Law. It happened to be the same year the Faculty of Law was established in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. The first Dean of the faculty, Reverend Prof. E.H. Ofori-Amankwah, expressed a desire and necessity for such a cause to be founded.
The Vision of the Fellowship is summarized in the Motto, “learning to be God-fearing”.....
LSRJ
The Law Students for Reproductive Justice, founded in September 2011 is a student based group on campus that trains and mobilizes law students to foster legal expertise and support for the realization of reproductive justice.
Reproductive justice exists when all people exercise their rights and access the resources they need to thrive and to decide whether, when, and how to have and parent children with dignity, free from discrimination, coercion, or violence.

Advocacy Group
Over the course of the years, it has been realized that the depictions in legal literature often influence students to pursue a career in Law. John Grisham books and legal thrillers like Suits and Boston Legal no doubt endeared some students to the Faculty of Law. But the academic hustle and bustle and voluminous readings hardly allow for this. Hence the formation of the Advocacy Group.
